If you’re a resident of the County of Roanoke and do not have a Roanoke Valley Library Card, you’re eligible for an eCard. (Under 12? You’re eligible too, but your parent or guardian should complete this application for you).
If you already have a physical Roanoke Valley Library card, you don’t need to sign up for an eCard! Your current card can be used for online services. Only one card of either type is permitted per user.
*In order to safeguard our community and slow the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19), Roanoke County Public Library will be closed. An end date has not been established for these changes, but we plan to return to regular operation as soon as conditions allow.
The eLibrary Cards will be valid for 90 days. If an extension is needed, library staff will extend these cards. Find out more information on Coronavirus (COVID-19) here.
Apply for an eCard here directly on our catalog site or fill out this form and one of our librarians will contact you.
