[ARCHIVED] Supreme Court of Virginia Issues Order Extending Declaration of Judicial Emergency Due to COVID-19

(Richmond, Va., July 8, 2020)  --  The Supreme Court of Virginia unanimously extends the Declaration of Judicial Emergency through August 9, 2020, and orders that the provisions of the Sixth Order Extending Declaration Of Judicial Emergency In Response To Covid-19 Emergency, entered June 22, 2020 (Sixth Order), shall continue to apply in all courts of the Commonwealth, except as provided herein.  The provisions of the Sixth Order, as amended and modified by this Order, are hereby incorporated by reference as if fully set forth herein and shall apply for the duration of this Order unless amended by future order.  

Accordingly, the Period of Judicial Emergency now extends from March 16, 2020, through August 9, 2020.
