[ARCHIVED] Police Seeking Information About Peters Creek Road Home Invasion and Robbery

At approximately 3:30 AM, Roanoke County police officers responded to a mobile home park located at 7004 Peters Creek Rd. in Roanoke County in response to a 911 call from a citizen who reported screams coming from a neighboring trailer. Upon arrival, officers discovered that a home invasion style robbery had just occurred at the trailer.

Officers learned that two black male suspects armed with handguns had forced entry into the trailer where they threatened the five victims inside and demanded cash from them. At one point, one suspect pointed his handgun at two little girls in the trailer, aged two and seven, and threatened them while demanding cash from the three adult victims. Suspects eventually stole an undisclosed amount of jewelry and a small amount of cash.

No one was hurt during the incident. The suspects fled before officers arrived. The robbery remains under investigation by the Roanoke County Police.

Anyone having information about the robbery or the suspects is asked to call Detective Katrina Goodman at 540-777-8621.
