[ARCHIVED] Survey Open for Route 419 Study between Keagy Road and Bower Road

The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) is conducting a survey focusing on Route 419/Electric Road between Keagy Road at TMEIC and Bower Road near Member One Federal Credit Union.  The survey requests your input regarding potential recommendations to address operational and safety issues in this area, many of which were identified through the recent Oak Grove Center Plan community engagement efforts. The Route 419 survey is one of several VDOT surveys currently underway. Please visit VAProjectPipeline.org to access the Route 419 - Electric Road survey.

Please note that the survey opens on March 1 and closes on March 15, 2022

Next steps include considering the feedback received to prepare applications for funding for at least one, and most likely a combination of improvements along the corridor.  Applications are due later this year with funding awards finalized by the Commonwealth Transportation Board in June 2023.

If you have questions for VDOT about the survey, please contact Michael Gray, VDOT Salem District Planning Manager, by email at Michael.Gray@vdot.virginia.gov or by phone at (540) 494-8288.

If you have questions for Roanoke County staff, please contact Megan Cronise
