[ARCHIVED] Single Vehicle Crash

On Friday April 29, 2022, a 2011 Nissan Altima driven by Michael Horton was traveling westbound while exiting the parking lot of the Wal Mart on Challenger Ave. The vehicle continued across the entrance road and struck the guardrail.Mr. Horton was not wearing a seatbelt, and was pronounced dead after being transported to the hospital. Drugs and alcohol were not a factor in the crash. The investigation is ongoing and no charges are pending. The entrance road to Wal Mart was blocked for a short time.
