Your Community. Your Voice.

The Roanoke County 200 Plan is a major update to the Comprehensive Plan. The plan expresses an overarching community vision as well as unique goals for 11 community planning areas within the County and the Town of Vinton. This spring, Roanoke County's Planning staff hosted a series of Community Planning Area Open Houses to receive comments from residents on what they would like to see in the future.

Did you miss your Community Planning Area's spring open house? You can still provide input into your Community Planning Area's future by completing your community's Roanoke County 200 Plan surveys at: https://www.roanokecountyva.gov/2814/Roanoke-County-200-Plan. Surveys for Community Planning Areas will be available through May 15, 2022.

Each Community Planning Area has unique surveys for Natural & Cultural Resources, Land Use, and Community Facilities & Infrastructure. Each Community Planning Area also features a separate Transportation Survey. Each survey addresses citizen concerns, future plans, and proposed future development outlined for each community area through this spring's public meetings and community input process.

Please see the links at https://www.roanokecountyva.gov/2814/Roanoke-County-200-Plan to access your community's unique survey through May 15, 2022.
