Members of the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office have located the body of a missing Roanoke County teenager.
Around 4:00 p.m. today (Feb 24), they discovered the body of 17-year-old Ryan Gillie in a wooded area about a mile from Plateau Plaza in Franklin County. The young man took his own life. Foul play is not suspected.
Ryan Gillie was last seen on Wednesday (Feb 22) at approximately 2:00 p.m. in the 24000 block of Virgil Goode Highway, also known as US 220, in Boones Mill.
Gillie’s vehicle was located at the Plateau Plaza yesterday (Feb 23).
