[ARCHIVED] Roanoke County Offices Closed Juneteenth

Juneteenth 2025

Roanoke County administrative offices closed on Thursday, June 19, in observance of the Juneteenth holiday. See more information below about facilties and services.

Trash Collection Schedule for June 16-20

Mon. & Tues. routes collected Mon. June 16.
Wed. routes collected Tues. June 17.
Thurs. routes collected Wed. June 18.
Please place your containers to the street on the listed day and leave until emptied.

Roanoke County Public Libraries will close at 5pm on June 8th and be closed on Thursday, June 19.

Roanoke County Parks, Recreation and Tourism facility schedules for Thursday, June 19:

Green Ridge Recreation Center – Open 5:30 AM – 1:00 PM
Explore Park Visitor Center – Open 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Treetop Quest at Explore Park – Open 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Splash Valley Water Park – Open 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Brambleton Recreation Center – CLOSED
Parks, Recreation & Tourism Administrative Office - CLOSED

CORTRAN services will be unavailable on Thursday, June 19.

Roanoke County Clerk of Circuit Court will be closed on Thursday, June 19.
