[ARCHIVED] Traffic Alert: Peters Creek Rd and Thirlane Rd/Valleypointe Parkway

The City of Roanoke would like to inform the traveling public of upcoming signal improvements at the intersection of Peters Creek Road and Thirlane Road/Valleypointe Parkway. These upgrades are part of ongoing efforts to enhance safety, improve traffic flow, and modernize our transportation infrastructure to better serve all roadway users.

During the course of this work, drivers may experience temporary lane closures and adjustments to signal operations. As a result, there may be additional delays in travel times through the area. Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead, allow for extra travel time, and use alternate routes when possible.

All drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians are asked to use caution when traveling through the work zone and to remain alert for crews and equipment. Your patience and cooperation are greatly appreciated as the City of Roanoke completes these much-needed updates that will provide long-term benefits to the community.
