• Time of Incident: Last seen around 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 11, 2012, leaving his Roanoke County home.

• Investigating Officer: Officer A. Birckhead

• Victim Name(s): Jeremie Lynn Thiers

• Victim Age: 36

• Additional Remarks:

Police are asking for the public's help with locating a Roanoke County man who’s not been seen by his family since yesterday (4/11) morning. 36-year-old Jeremie Lynn Thiers was last seen leaving his Roanoke County home around 10:00 a.m. He was reported missing last night by his wife who contacted police after Thiers failed to return home.

Police and family members are concerned for Thiers safety. Thiers is a paraplegic and his family says he’s made remarks about suicide. He may also be armed with a handgun.

Thiers is a white male. He is 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs 170 pounds. He has blonde hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a dark gray zippered jacket, a light colored button-down shirt, and beige khaki-style pants. Thiers is driving a 2006 Chevrolet Colorado pickup truck that has a wheelchair lift on the back of the vehicle.
