[ARCHIVED] Update on Brush Collection Efforts

Brush crews will finish Wednesday A week residents on Saturday, August 4, 2012. Once those routes are finished, the crews will move to Starmount, North Burlington, and Loch Haven Road neighborhoods. The remaining Thursday A Week residents will be collected on Monday, August 6, 2012 and possibly Tuesday, August 7, 2012. The volume of brush is extremely heavy and crews are working as quickly as possible.

We ask that residents please be patient regarding their brush collection as the delays may be lengthy. Please do not place brush under power lines, trees, or park vehicles near the brush piles, or mix the brush with bulk items as these obstacles will further delay collection. Please remember that brush must be no longer than 6 feet in length and 12 inches in diameter.

The Solid Waste Division will advise our residents of our progress via newsflashes on this website as we continue to provide bulk/brush and regular trash collection service. Bulk collection and regular garbage service is being collected on schedule.
