Polling locations will be open from 6 AM to 7 PM and all in person voters must cast their ballot at their ASSIGNED voting precinct's designated Election Day polling place to ensure that they receive and vote the correct ballot and that their voted ballot can be counted.
To find your assigned polling location, please visit our Voter View App, which will provide you with door-to-door directions to your voting precinct once you enter the Roanoke County address at which currently reside or are registered to vote.
A full list of all Election Day precincts in Roanoke County, with precinct names, numbers, polling place names and addresses, each precinct's election districts and sample ballots (which are only available approximately 55 days prior to each Election Day) is available here.
Roanoke County provides the following accommodations to ensure that our polling places are accessible to all of our voters:
ADA-accessible ballot marking devices are available for voters who are able to appear in person inside all of our Election Day polling places; these machines produce a printed, marked ballot that can the voter can then cast on the voting machine/ballot scanner.
Curbside voting is available upon request for voters with special needs, illnesses, and who are 65 years of age or older; after the voter has provided their name, address, and a valid form of identification, an officer of election will bring the voter a paper ballot outside to the voter so that they can mark it.
Voters who require any assistance reading, marking, or casting their ballot from an individual other than an official Officer of Elections will be required to sign a Request for Assistance Form.
