The Plan Summary highlights the key components of the various sections of the Draft Plan, which is fully detailed in six appendices. The Summary is provided in an easy-to-read format with many graphics, maps, tables and charts. Note: these files are large. Please allow time for documents to load.

  • Roanoke County Planning Commission Public Hearing
    The public hearing was broadcast live on February 2, 2021 and recorded, so members of the public may view the meeting on the Roanoke County website. The Planning Commission voted to recommend the Oak Grove Center Plan for approval.

Next Steps

  • City of Roanoke Planning Commission Public Hearing
    March 8th, 2021 at 1:30 p.m.
    Citizens may register to speak at the meeting by emailing planning@roanokeva.gov by 12 noon on Friday, March 5, 2021. Citizens who register to speak will receive information to connect to this public meeting and present their views to the Planning Commission by electronic communication means.
     The meeting will be streamed on Facebook Live.
