Mail-In Absentee Ballot Tracker

Roanoke County voters who requested a mail-in absentee ballot that was mailed and/or returned via the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) can now track the status of their ballot's journey by visiting Ballot Scout. If your ballot was sent or returned using any method OTHER than the USPS, Ballot Tracker will not be of use to you.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:
THIS FEATURE WILL ONLY WORK FOR VOTERS WHO REQUEST & RETURN THEIR ABSENTEE BALLOT VIA USPS FIRST CLASS MAIL!

Voters who cast their ballot early in person, drop their voted absentee ballots off in person or using a voted ballot drop bag, or return their mail-in absentee ballots to us by means OTHER than the USPS will NOT be able to track the progress of their ballot via Ballot Scout!  The ONLY way to confirm the status of ballots cast in person, dropped of at our offices or in a voted ballot drop bag, or returned via any manner other than the USPS is visiting the Virginia Department of Elections' Voter Information Portal, selecting the "Check Registration Status" button, and scrolling until you reach the section of the page that provides details of an individual's absentee voting history.
